The Journal of Cambridge Studies (JCS) is a recognized quarterly registered and published in the UK. Since its first volume, published in 2006, JCS has undergone steady development and enjoyed a growing readership. The scope of JCS now covers a range of humanities and social science subjects including education, linguistics, sociology, philosophy, history, as well as other research fields having a strong inter-disciplinary nature. In contrast to previous volumes, JCS 2009-2010 will focus on a selection of topics of particular scholarly value, which encompass interdisciplinary dialogue and the combination of theory and practice. We are calling for papers related to the following topics: - The Mission of the University: Drawing Insights from Cambridge
- Darwin and Evolution: A Reassessment in the New Century
- Science and Humanities: C. P. Snow's the Two Cultures in Retrospect
- Contemporary Revaluation of Classical Knowledge
